Oh Hey!
My name is Danni
I'm an aspiring yogini, an enthusiastic writer and a mediocre chef.
But don't worry, you won't be getting any half cooked lasagna
here.
I have been navigating a journey of spiritual awakening for several years now. It's been (and continues to be) an incredibly expansive, gloriously unpredictable and exhilarating rollercoaster.
I wouldn't have it any other way.
I have explored Irish Shamanism, Buddishm, gnosticism, different modalities of psychotherapy and pretty much anything else that I feel could broaden my understanding of existence and what my role is in it.
In September of 2018 I discovered yogic philosophy for the first time and needless to say, it was a good fit! I now live, work and teach at Yasodhara Ashram on Kootenay Lake in BC, Canada. Just a hop, skip and a jump across the pond from my native home of County Meath, Ireland. (That's a lie, it's an absolute odyssey to get home. But worth it for a cup of Lyons and the hugs that greet me at the other end.)
I'm 24, post university and quickly realizing that society isn't full of all the promises I was told it would be if I followed by its rules.
So I've started making my own.
